Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using Purser.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Purser, a product of ODISION MACROMOAT TECH (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED ("Purser", "we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting a third-party integration, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Purser does

Purser reconciles sales, payment, advertising, accounting, and inventory data from the third-party platforms you choose to connect, presenting a unified, reconciled view of your business's revenue, marketing, costs, inventory, and cash — and surfacing what needs attention so you can act on it. Every figure Purser presents is labeled by its tier — Reconciled (backed by real, confirmed data) or Modelled (an estimate, clearly stated as such) — so you always know how much to trust a given number.

3. Your account and connections

4. No automated actions without your confirmation

Purser does not automatically execute financial or advertising actions on your behalf — for example, it will not change ad budgets, pause campaigns, or move money — without your explicit, human confirmation for that specific action. Any future automated-action capability will be opt-in and clearly disclosed before it affects your accounts.

5. The Finance Agent

Purser includes an AI-powered assistant ("Finance Agent") that answers questions about your connected data. The Finance Agent only reports figures retrieved from your own reconciled data — it does not estimate, invent, or independently calculate numbers — and will decline to answer if the underlying data isn't sufficiently complete to trust. You remain responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it for a business decision.

6. Data accuracy and limitations

While Purser is built to reconcile data as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee that every third-party data source (e.g. Shopify, Meta, Google, Xero, Zoho, Stripe, Razorpay, Amazon) is itself free of error, delay, or outage. Purser is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for your own accounting, tax, or legal advice.

7. Subscription and billing

Purser is offered on a subscription basis as described at the point of signup. Pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you subscribe.

8. Termination

You may close your Purser account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the platform.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purser and ODISION MACROMOAT TECH (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including decisions made based on figures Purser presents.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Purser evolves. Continued use of Purser after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
